Invading a friend might be one of the coolest feature of latest game by zynga empire and allies, you just have to reach level 6 then hover your mouse over any neighbor and click invade.

To get success you must have good army like tanks and artillery, make sure that you invade that part of your neighbor map which is least protected.
When you click invade a 3d fight starts and the person with best army wins. Invading is very cool feature as it enables you to loot the coins from your neighbor a feature previously used in zynga mafia wars where you attacked a friend and got coins and money but empires and allies is more realistic as there is real 3d fight not just by clicking some freaking attack buttons.
