Journal of cosmology has more than 50,000 readers a month, the latest issue of the journal is human mission to mars, most of the papers on this journal are related to a new research but this one is more like survey.
Many scientists believe that one way mission to mars could be possible like in next 20 years and it seems many of other people to agree with them.
According to fox news with the publication of one way mission to mars only in a month more then 400 people contacted journal editors to be volunteered for this mission.
These were out of 50,000 monthly users which gives you less than 1 percent more precisely 0.8%.
According to fox news some comments of volunteers were,
“I am very good with solitude” said 69 years old computer programmer pasha.
“I am very good at making things work” said another volunteer.
These volunteers would have to face totally different situation of colonizing as in times of colonizing latin America people had to use resources wood, water to colonize them selves but these volunteers would have to colonize on red planet with no resources at all.
There are also other issues, what will be the right kind of people for the mission and who will decide and under what criteria?
If 307,006,550 people living in united states were asked to volunteer for the mission by the math from journal you will 2.5 million volunteers.
And why not there will be unique prestige for the people who will be going out for unique mission first ever of kind in total human race.
